My Platform
In this section, you will find a few of the many plans that I would like to see unfold over the next four years.
Some have been discussed over the last few elections and most of those have collected dust after the polls closed.
This list is not conclusive, there are many more with importance to varying degrees. I seek input from the city residence and I challenge the other candidates to put ideas on the table.

COMING SOON......MEET THE CANDIDATES..........ALL OF THEM......(THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY)
(You may need a second bag of popcorn for this)
From time to time some local organizations sponsor a "Meet The Candidates" forum. This is all well and fine, however, the candidates are only given a few minutes to speak on specific topics. There is a lot to be said (in addition to all the "hot air" we spurt off)
to let the citizens of our community know what we stand for.
Debates
I would really like to see some type of televised Debate. I'm not talking about a Jerry Springer knock down, drag out type debate but rather a Glenn Beck "Honest Questions, Honest Answers" type debate. What honest candidate would oppose something like that?
As I said in the Introduction, I have laid out this website to be user friendly and to provide you, the voter, with the necessary links to see where I'm coming from. The purpose of this Platform Section is to give you a general idea of some of the goals and accomplishments that I would like to achieve for Goldsboro over the next four years. I base my platform on common sense and fairness. Most of these goals (with the exception of the civic center) are easily attainable within the first year of holding office. They are cost effective and will produce positive results.
There are many more ideas that could be implemented that could improve our city drastically, simple, streamline and effective. It is up to us to...
